Pending legal review. This page states what the software actually does, verified against the code. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer, and the items marked [to be confirmed] need a decision from Astrodyne before public launch.

What we do not store

Astrodyne does not store the content of your API requests. Prompts, messages and model responses are not written to our database. Request records keep metadata only — the model you named, token counts, timing, status and the amount charged.

We do not store your API key. Keys are hashed, and the full secret is shown to you exactly once, at creation. If you lose it, nobody at Astrodyne can recover it for you; you revoke it and create another.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your traffic to train models.

What we store

  • Account — your email address, an optional display name, and a hash of your password.
  • API keys — a hash, a short non-secret prefix so you can tell keys apart, and their usage counts.
  • Usage — one record per request: model, token counts, latency, status, and the charge.
  • Balance — an append-only ledger of funds added and amounts charged.
  • Operational logs — request metadata and errors. Secrets and message content are redacted before anything is written.

Who else processes it

  • Stripe handles payments. Card details go directly to Stripe and never reach Astrodyne's servers; we store only the result of a payment and the balance it produced.
  • Model providers. To serve a request we send it to the upstream provider that runs the model you named. Your Astrodyne API key is never forwarded — the upstream sees Astrodyne's own credential, not yours, and does not know which Astrodyne customer sent the request.
  • Hosting and email delivery — infrastructure providers acting on our instructions. [to be confirmed: named list before public launch]

Retention

Account, usage and ledger records are kept while your account is open, and afterwards where we are required to keep financial records. [to be confirmed: exact retention periods and the jurisdiction whose rules apply]

Your choices
