Balance and billing
One prepaid balance in US dollars, drawn down by usage that has settled.
The billing model
- No subscription and no platform fee. You pay for the tokens you use.
- Input and output tokens are priced separately, per model, per million tokens.
- A request holds an estimate, then settles the real amount and returns the rest.
- A request that fails before it is charged costs you nothing.

Why the figures always agree
Each of those views reads the same underlying records rather than keeping its
own running total. Your balance is the sum of the activity you can inspect —
there is no separate number stored elsewhere that could drift.
Refunds
Funds are prepaid and drawn down as you use the platform. They are not refundable to cash except where required by law. If a charge looks wrong, find the request id and contact support — see Getting help.
